LED Display – Complete Guide to Moisture and Water Protection
Scientific Moisture Control, Safe Operation – From Environment to Maintenance, Protecting Every Screen
1. Storage Environment: Keep Dry, Package Properly
Choose high‑ground storage: Select warehouses on higher ground and equip them with dehumidifiers.
Seal against moisture: Do not leave displays exposed or leaning against walls; place them in cases with desiccants.
Post‑rain inspection: After humid conditions subside, power on and test the screen without fail.
2. Indoor Use: Safety Check, Power‑On Dehumidification
Safety inspection: Check cables and switches; ensure absolute dryness.
Power‑on dehumidification: Power on the display for at least 3 hours daily to dissipate heat and moisture.
Auxiliary dehumidification: Use cold air to dry the cabinets and clean dust regularly.
3. Rental / Emergency Response: Power Off in Rain, Restart Gradually
Power off in rain: Immediately cover the screen to protect from rain; on sunny days, open and air‑dry the cabinets.
Cold‑air drying: On overcast or rainy days, open the cabinet covers and blow with cold air; ventilate for 8 hours.
Gradual restart: Increase brightness in 5 steps, holding each step for 4 hours to fully disperse moisture.
4. Outdoor Protection: Regular Inspection, Tighten Seals
Check gaskets: Inspect for aging or damage; ensure all seals are intact.
Tighten locks and fasteners: Check screws and locking mechanisms to prevent loosening and water ingress.
5. Maintenance / Long‑Term Inactivity: Power On Periodically
Regular power‑on: For displays that have been idle for a long time, power them on and test frequently.
Prevent failures: Scientific maintenance helps avoid dead pixels and other faults.
